Use of the site and generator
GPT Skin provides editorial guides, original theme concepts, and a browser-based generator that creates a local ZIP from the inputs you choose. You may use the site for personal or commercial design exploration, subject to these terms and the rights attached to every image, application, and third-party project involved.
Do not use the site to distribute malware, evade security controls, misrepresent unofficial software as official, infringe intellectual property, or interfere with the service. Automated access that harms availability or ignores published crawl controls is not permitted.
User-supplied images and exported packs
You retain responsibility for the image you select and the pack you export. You must have the rights needed for your intended use. A private theme, a public screenshot, a free download, and a paid theme marketplace can require different permissions. GPT Skin does not grant rights to third-party photographs, characters, logos, portraits, or artwork.
The generator creates files from your browser inputs. Review the ZIP before running or sharing it. You are responsible for removing private filenames, personal images, or metadata you do not want to distribute.
No guaranteed desktop compatibility
A GPT Skin export is a visual pack, not an official OpenAI, Anthropic, Codex, ChatGPT, or Claude feature. It does not install itself. Desktop applications can update without notice, and unofficial adapters may depend on process names, paths, DOM selectors, startup arguments, or debugging interfaces that change.
Use only an adapter you trust, inspect current documentation, keep a restore path available, and stop if native controls or security boundaries are affected. Guides are informational and may become outdated after a software release. The upstream project and software vendor remain the authority for their current products.
Independent status and trademarks
GPT Skin is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or Anthropic. Codex, ChatGPT, Claude, and related names, logos, and product marks belong to their respective owners. References identify compatibility topics and do not imply sponsorship, partnership, or approval.
The Fei-Away/Codex-Dream-Skin project is a separate open-source project governed by its own license, notices, repository policies, and contributor decisions.
Availability and limitation of responsibility
The site is provided on an “as available” basis. We aim to keep the generator functional and guides accurate, but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free exports, ranking outcomes, permanent compatibility, or fitness for a particular device or managed environment.
You are responsible for backups, app restoration, device security, and reviewing local scripts before execution. To the extent allowed by applicable law, GPT Skin is not responsible for losses caused by third-party installers, desktop updates, unsupported modifications, rights violations in user-supplied images, or use outside these terms.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the site adds or removes features. The effective date will be updated when material revisions are published.
